Four young scientists contracted by the Paragone project at University of Córdoba have finished their Thesis

Alejandro Escamilla Sánchez, Isabel L. Pacheco Luque and María T. Ruiz Campillo, who have been contracted by Paragone Project, have recently finished their Thesis. The Thesis entitled: STUDY OF THE MECHANISMS OF IMMUNOMODULATION USED BY FASCIOLA HEPATICA: APOPTOSIS AND REGULATORY T CELLS (A. Escamilla), EVALUATION OF HEPATIC LESIONS AND LOCAL IMMUNE RESPONSE IN SHEEP VACCINATED WITH CL1 AND INFECTED WITH FASCIOLA HEPATICA (I.L. Pacheco) and STUDY OF THE LIVER AND PERITONEAL FLUID OF SHEEP IN EARLY STAGES OF EXPERIMENTAL INFECTION WITH FASCIOLA HEPATICA (M.T. Ruiz-Campillo) have recently been presented and all of them obtained the highest qualification and an International Mention. Raúl Pérez Caballero, who is also contracted with Paragone project has recently finished his Thesis entitled: HOST-PARASITE INTERACTION IN OVINE FASCIOLOSIS: MECHANISMS OF RESPONSE IN EARLY AND LATE STAGES. Thesis dissertation is planned by 20th December 2018.
